À propos de Kira

I am a Canadian Certified Counsellor registered with the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association. I obtained a BSc in Psychology from the University of Lethbridge, and my Master’s in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University. I have been working with children and adults in the counselling field for the past 5 years in both crisis and therapeutic settings. As a counsellor, I am passionate about supporting my clients through life’s challenges, including depression, anxiety, relationships, trauma, and grief. I help clients to achieve personalized goals, create positive self-image, develop coping strategies, and integrate effective changes into their lives. I take a person-centered approach to therapy, drawing from Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy, with various strength-based and mindfulness practices. I am committed to creating a safe space for healing and growth by ensuring clients feel heard and validated in a non-judgmental environment. I believe there is no topic off-limits in counselling and in meeting clients where they are to support their journey. I take great pride in building therapeutic relationships with my clients and watching their growth and success.
