Hello, My name is Kate (she/they) and I am grateful for the opportunity to provide counselling here in the Peace Country, my home for over 20 years. Whether this is your first experience in counselling or your next steps towards understanding yourself, your relationships, and your stories, I look forward to the opportunity to work alongside you. I hold a Master’s Degree in Counselling Psychology and I am a Certified Canadian Counsellor (CCC). In addition to my formal education, I have completed training and received certifications in Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, Narrative Therapy levels 1 & 2, Attachment Repair and Processing Therapy, Grief Therapy, and Trauma Informed interventions for 2SLGBTQ+ individuals. I have many years of experience providing support for disabled adults and youth and navigating provincial benefits programs. I have also been involved with rural restorative justice programs in the Northwest. I proudly offer support in a gender and sexually affirming, anti oppressive environment to teens, adults, and seniors of all genders, backgrounds, and communities. I am available for a 15 minute free consult call or meet and greet so you can see if I am the right fit for you.
