I have been practicing since early 2015 and have a diverse clinical background, including experience in sex therapy, trauma, depression, anxiety, couples counseling, traumatic brain injury (TBI), and addictions/recovery. I utilize a collaborative approach to therapy where I’ll explain what we’re doing and why and we’ll engage in the process together. Therapy can be challenging, but can help you to live a better life. I have worked with individuals, couples, families, and groups, in many diverse clinical settings including private practice, inpatient, and outpatient rehab. I have significant experience working with first responders and injured workers. As a general rule, I only work with adults 18+, except in cases of family therapy. I specialize in the following areas: Human Sexuality and Sexuality-Related Disorders, Trauma and Stress related Disorders, Mood disorders, Relationship and Couples’ Therapy, Grief Counseling, Philosophical Counseling.

I have a Master of Arts (M.A.) in Psychology from Brandman University in Riverside, California (2015) with a dual emphasis in Professional Clinical Counseling (PCC) and Marriage and Family Therapy (MFT). I have a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) with Honors in both Philosophy and Economics from Denison University in Granville, Ohio (2006). I have also completed advanced training in human sexuality and sex therapy through the University of Guelph.
