Heather graduated from the Canadian School of Natural Nutrition in 2021 with a diploma in Natural Nutrition. She also has naturopathy certification from Academy of Naturopaths and Naturotherapists of Canada which she received in 2021, as well as certification in 200-Hour Yoga Teacher Training which she completed in 2017. She is the owner of Heather Mitchell Health & Nutrition, where she provides nutrition and wellness consulting. As a Holistic Nutritionist, she works with clients in areas of hormonal health, cardiovascular health, digestive and intestinal health, along with issues of the thyroid, diabetes, arthritis, weight management and more. Heather’s focus is to identify areas and body systems that may be out of balance through lifestyle and nutritional symptomatology assessments, and subsequently address those issues with a regimen of targeted nutrition as well as lifestyle adjustments. As she recognizes that the body and mind are deeply intertwined, Heather takes a rounded approach to helping her clients meet their goals in the areas of nutrition, sleep and stress management as well as movement. When she isn’t working, Heather enjoys playing volleyball, basketball and football, spending time with her partner and 3 wonderful children, and living an active lifestyle together.
