Daniel Vergel discovered his passion for physical therapy through a lifelong connection to sport. Growing up playing competitive soccer, he developed a deep appreciation for movement, recovery, and performance. His interest evolved through shadowing various physical therapists, where he witnessed the transformative power of rehabilitation and client-centered care.
Daniel earned his Bachelor of Kinesiology from the University of Alberta in 2022 and later completed his Master of Physical Therapy at the University of Manitoba. His academic journey equipped him with a strong foundation in evidence-based practice and hands-on clinical skills.
Daniel’s treatment approach incorporates a mix of manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, and patient education. He works alongside his clients to help them return to their unique goals—whether that means getting back on the field, improving daily function, or simply moving with confidence. His focus is on empowering individuals with the tools and knowledge for long-term wellness.
Outside the clinic, Daniel enjoys playing soccer with friends, working on his golf game, and traveling whenever possible. He’s always up for a good sports conversation or exploring new food spots around Edmonton.
