“Thank you to Dr. El-Bialy for the most comprehensive ortho consult I have received. It was so helpful to be shown other patients with similar issues and what results can be realistically achieved. I feel he truly cares about the health of my teeth/mouth because he's referred me to a periodontist due to existing gum recession for clearance to go ahead with braces. And he also found my tongue tie and explained the importance of having a frenectomy prior to getting braces in my complex case. I've gone to 6 other orthodontic consults and not one of those orthodontists addressed these issues, treating me only as a source of business income offering to get me in braces immediately. “Sphinx Orthodontics just wants your money. I started the Invisalign process with them (it was supposed to be one year) and I went there for almost 5 years and never finished. Dr. Tarek will spent 3-5 minutes with you each visit. He wants to make money and THEY LIKE YOU when you are paying. “I’m glad I chose Sphinx for my complex orthodontics treatment pre and post double jaw surgery. Dr El Bialy and his team are extremely professional and easy to deal with. Very responsive and compassionate. Front desk staff are exceptional! I’d recommend this clinic to anyone out there. My treatment is still ongoing, but I needed to write this asap. “This orthodontist does not have a good bed-side manner for children. We were not informed as to what to expect in a consultation and pushed through a lengthy appointment with many photos and X-rays. They seemed more concerned about making money than understanding the reason we came for a consultation. Their approach is to make you feel as though there is a lot wrong with you so you give them your money to fix the many problems. Sphinx made my child cry and negatively impacted my child’s self-esteem. Additionally, the office has an open concept layout so there is a feeling of lack of privacy. Due to our experience with the consult, our family decided to seek other options. We asked to receive our child’s records to share in other consultations. To receive the records, there is a $400 fee. “Mohamed Ali Farag has been with me from the very first day I got my braces to the day they finally came off, and I could not have asked for a better dentist. He was always patient, gentle, and truly cared about how I was feeling. When others brushed things off as “fine,” he listened, reassured me, and made sure I received the best treatment possible.
