“I went to China Traditional Chinese Medicine and that session is one of my worst acupuncture ever. Here's by categories: Attitude: I called and talked to the young acupuncturist Peter. The first call was great it was a holiday and he was relaxed and answered my questions with details and patience. When I called two weeks later to book the first appt he was very rushed and made me feel comfortable, and I think he was doing multiples things at once. When I arrived onsite I paid $50 for consultation fee but that basically was just me telling him my issues for 15 min. He didn't really say much about anything and just wanted to get started. I hardly felt there was any consultation at all and the $50 was a waste, and more importantly this is the only joint that I've been to where they charge this listening fee. His attitude was also very abrasive and impatient. Ethics: When I called the first time I specifically asked if there's any Chinese Massage Tuina as I've always done needle and Tuina which I find is the best combo, and he was deliberately being vague and said "Usually we don't do that but we'll do what the client's situation requires" But when I got there and sat on the bed he said they don't do Tuina. That's misinformation and misrepresentation and I should have just left. Skills: My previous 3 practitioners will tell me to stand up and stretch and show them where the pain spots are so they could touch and analyze, then tell me what's wrong and where the pain is starting from, and finally where they would put the needles in and what the needles would do. However this Peter Guy was rushing through the entire process and told me to lay down where I couldn't feel my pain clearly, then ask me where the pain are so he could randomly stick a bunch of needles in. I feel he's very rushed as he's seeing multiple patients at once and he's just trying to stick the needles in ASAP so he could leave and attend the other patients. The entire process was very rushed and assembly line like and very subpar. I had pain and tightness in my neck, shoulder blades and both waists before seeing him. And over the next two days I had worse pain and tightness in all those areas, and it took 3-4 days to get back to normal. Thus my experience at this location has been pretty bad based on the entire interaction. He has very abrasive, impatient and rude. His skills are also subpar. I gave 2 stars only because he did give me electric current stimulation which the other sites didn't. He also gave me cupping but that really didn't do anything. People are supposed to come to these places to get treated and relaxed and feel better afterward, but my session didn't have any improvements at all and in fact felt worse for the next few days, not to mention the entire session of dealing and talking with him was very stressful. This was hands down my worst acupuncture session ever and I will not be returning here nor will I recommend any families and friends to waste money and time here.”

“Another AMAZING treatment from Dr Zhao today! Crashed on my mountain bike last summer and have struggled with rehabbing my shoulder ( seen physio and neuropathy physician with very poor results). I am once again completely in debt to Dr Zhao for he is the only person who has ever had an immediate impact on pain relief for me! Just know that acupuncture is the real deal, BUT only when performed by a professional! Highly recommended!!!”

“I have nothing but praise to say about these hard working honest people! If you have any kind of health issues instead of going to the doctor try them instead! You will not be disappointed! You do not get a mere few minutes of their time, you get a full hour and they treat as many issues that you have all at the same time!! It is not a fancy spa type place but who cares?! You will get the help that doctors don't give you. I wish more people knew about them, I tell as many people as possible and am so happy, they helped with my sore upper arm which was so painful I could not sleep and after one session I was able to sleep again! After 6 sessions it was basically gone after dealing with this for years trying chiropractors and physio to avail. At the same time they treated me for headaches, tight shoulder muscles, and I really liked their ideas on weight loss soup which I still use a year later. Please try them out, you will not be disappointed!! Easy parking right outside and you can get in this week!”

“I have been receiving treatments from Dr Zhao for many years for chronic illness. He has been instrumental in helping me to regain balance and restore energy. He is able tell how my body is doing through feeling my pulses, and reading signs from ears and tongue. Every treatment is methodologically tailored to the state of my health at the moment. You have to believe in Chinese acupuncture treatment (and sometimes need to alter lifestyle) to get real results.
