I had an absolutely wonderful experience with Colby. As a parent of a child who is actively involved in sports, finding the right physiotherapist is so important and I truly couldn’t recommend him more. Colby is incredibly detail oriented and demonstrates a high level of professionalism in the way he assesses and treats his patients. He takes the time to explain everything clearly, making both the parent and child feel comfortable and confident throughout the process. His approach feels very personalized, and you can tell he genuinely cares about his patients’ recovery and performance. I also want to highlight the front desk team their warmth and friendliness really set the tone for the entire clinic. From the moment you walk in, you feel welcomed and well taken care of. Overall, a fantastic experience. Highly recommended for any families with active kids!

A waste of time and money. Dr Lisser enforces a cookie cutter protocol that is not tailored to the individual. Many times throughout the program I expressed my concerns and how the treatments were triggering more migraines. I was encouraged to stay the course and the results were even further damage to my jaw and an increase in migraine frequency. Even worse, I sent many follow ups and requested phone calls and he no showed three calls in a row, then promised he send me a list of supplements and exercises to work on but never did. I later found out other patients who had vastly different issues and history to mine were given the exact same protocol. A huge disappoint overall and would never recommend.

I was referred to the Jaw & Facial Pain Centre after seeking a third dental opinion from a recommended dentist because of "my jaw pain". It has been found via a CAT scan that I have no cartilage in my jaw joint. There is no getting cartilage back. But my pain because of Colby and the Centre now is now mostly all gone due to Colby's work on my jaw. Colby showed me how to move and how not to move my jaw, how to massage the cheek and neck and under the jaw muscles to encourage those muscles to relax themselves. The exercises help prevent un-intended aggravation, which caused me to further clench which resulted my pain. What really impressed me about Colby is his explanations, his knowledge, his calm but deep treatments of my "clenching muscles", and his professional approach (and videos) with which I learnt "why my jaw pained me (unbearably at times)". Not cured (no cartilage) but Colby gave (taught) me how to recognize what I was doing that could (or would) next lead to pain, and he gave me, with his teaching, the tools I can myself use (self cheek massage, relax jaw, don't move jaw forward fast for examples). I suffered with jaw pain, and neither physicians nor dentists told me about "the Jaw Centre" (even after the CAT scan). Not until I made an appointment with a third Toronto dentist who referred me to The Jaw Centre did I know physiotherapy could or would ease my pain. I am so thankful to Colby and the Jaw & Facial Pain Centre for helping and teaching me. Thank you.

I'm about 1/3 of the way through the treatment plan Colby Bucci set out and I think it's going very well! He is a super-clear, constructive communicator and the plan to have multiple short appointments is great not only in terms of their intensity but also of staying on track with exercises and being able to ask questions as they arise. I'm optimistic about the rest of the treatments and glad that my dentist referred me here.

I'm finally pain free! Dr. Alex solved a problem that no other specialist has been able to. Over a period of 20 years was given only extreme and invasive solutions to my TMJ issues ~$12k and years in braces, jaw reconstruction surgery, uncomfortable bite guards, and more. Dr. Alex was able to assess and comfortably guide my jaw back into a smooth glide to alleviate clicking, locking and migraine-inducing tension. I cannot say enough about her expertise and professionalism. If you have jaw pain, this is the place to go and the woman to see.

Service is absolutely incredible at this clinic. People have been kind, informative and open at every consultation. I've needed adjustments due to schedule and as soon as I called with enough notice they were accommodating. In particular I want to give Kudos to Dr. Colby and Dr. Yolande for their jaw therapy and to RMT Cathy for her throat therapy. It helped me immensely with swallowing and voice projection issues.

I’ve been going to The Centre for Fitness, Health & Performance / The Jaw & Facial Pain Centre for a few months now for TMJ-related issues, and I can’t say enough good things about my experience. Colby and Brittany have been working with me on a biweekly basis and have been absolutely incredible. They are genuinely caring, supportive, and clearly invested in making sure you receive the best possible treatment for your specific situation. They take the time to explain exactly what they’re doing and why they’re doing it, which I really appreciate, and they’re always happy to answer any questions. They’re also very mindful of insurance coverage and make an effort to tailor treatment based on what’s covered, which shows a level of thoughtfulness you don’t always find. I’ve had poor experiences with TMJ treatment in the past, so finding this place has been a huge relief. I’m so happy I found them and would highly recommend this clinic to anyone dealing with TMJ issues.

I can’t say enough great things about CFFHP and their physio Colby. From the very first appointment, the care, professionalism, and attention to detail were exceptional. Colby is incredibly knowledgeable and took the time to thoroughly explain the jaw treatment process, making sure I felt comfortable and confident every step of the way. The treatment was very effective and made a noticeable difference in comfort and function. The clinic environment is warm, welcoming, and highly professional, and the entire team clearly prioritizes patient well-being. If you’re looking for expert jaw treatment with a practitioner who truly cares, I would highly recommend the team at CFFHP. Outstanding experience from start to finish.

I am writing this review on behalf of my mother, who received treatment at this clinic from Dr. Colby. During her first session, Dr. Colby placed his hands inside her mouth and applied strong force by pulling the right side of her nose toward her ear. She was told this was normal and safe. Trusting the professional advice, she continued attending for approximately 5–6 sessions. However, her condition worsened with each visit instead of improving. She began experiencing pain, significant discomfort, and breathing difficulties. There is now a visible dent on the right side of her nose that was not present before the treatment. In November, my mother contacted Danielle (the manager) to express her concerns and request a refund. She felt the conversation was hostile and was told that no refund was possible and that if she had contacted earlier, something could have been done. Due to language barriers and feeling discouraged, she did not pursue the matter further at that time. When I contacted Danielle myself recently to follow up, I was shocked by how rude and dismissive the conversation was. The tone was unprofessional and hostile. I also noticed a clear difference in how I was spoken to compared to my mother, who has an accent. This was very upsetting and concerning. Based on our experience, we are extremely dissatisfied with both the treatment and the way our concerns were handled. My mother is now left with ongoing physical issues, and we feel this situation was not addressed with the care or professionalism it deserved.

Absolutely exceptional experience at CFFHP! Conveniently located and easily accessible by subway, which is a huge plus. The professionalism and commitment to patient care truly stand out. The staff is not only efficient but also incredibly friendly, making you feel welcomed from the moment you step in. The ambiance is pleasant and neat, with a stunning view of Toronto adding to the experience. I tried the massage therapy, and Henry, the Registered Massage Therapist at CFFHP, was able to identify and address my muscle discomfort effectively. Highly recommend CFFHP for anyone seeking top-notch health and wellness services in Toronto!
