Lobby staff were extremely lazy, or just didn’t have their playbook memorized. Had to go to the front desk twice to inquire about oversized vehicle parking. Either they didn’t know or were just lazy. Instructions are vague… you’re the face of the company. People drive from far away to come this place and are tired and want to relax. Least you can do is be explicit with instructions so we don’t have to “figure” it out. We were told the hours of the spa and we go up to the spa and find it closed for cleaning or something, 2hrs before it closes. No mention of that. Even our room keys won’t let us into the walkway to the spa at this time. No mention of it, we’re upset because our keys don’t work, but there’s no mention of why. It’s sooo stupid how it’s run. So we go back to the room and decide maybe room service. Oh, no. No room service. At a hotel. That has a spa. That’s closed for cleaning. Just before it closes. Seriously. What a joke. I’ve been more relaxed at a roadside motel than here. I hate leaving negative reviews and I don’t do it often but this is bullshit.

The improvements to the Spa, including the steam rooms, vertical hydrotherapy, and cold plunge pool, are very welcome additions. Our recently renovated room was first class and super quiet. The Spa feels more like a spa now. We will definitely return!

We were in a renovated room. Amazing refresh. Rooms felt much more spacious. Pool refresh was completed. The waters were amazing. The hydrotherapy showers were a great addition. Only downside was adult swim every night. It is less family inclusive.

This review is for the newly renovated spa at the hotel. Love the new design updates and overall relaxing vibe! Worth the price! However, please be very careful in the new steam saunas. The steam vent is at floor level in the corner, and I ended up with a blistered burn on my ankle just by sitting normally (noticed other guests dodging the steam, too). Steam outlets really need to be higher up or guarded so people don't get hurt. Also, adding robe hooks in the thermal area would stop people from hogging the relaxation chairs with their robes. Excited to see the final results when renovations are totally done!

Im from Regina and rew months ago we stayed at the spa for our anniversary, rented a newly renovated room for $350 for the one night. We came to the conclusion that the prices were not worth the stay at the hotel and we would not rent there ahin, with the understanding that this is a destination hotel and even though overpriced for the city but knowing people still may want to travel for it from further away. We decided that next time we would just travel in for the day like we have done in the past but still use the pool because we enjoy the relaxing environment. Now with the new price increase we will no longer be visiting again. We will have to make other plans for escapes other than Moose Jaw now unfortunately as this was one of the few places there.

First time staying here for 1 night. We were on the casino side with a balcony suite. Beds were clean but you can tell the rooms are dated with stains on the carpets. The tub was difficult to stand in it was curved almost all the way to the center, they did provide a rubber mat though. It was a good stay and quiet, just not quite worth 5 stars. Staff at the desk were welcoming and helpful.

So we booked a room the day before we required it...we were told it was the ONLY room available. (King bed with balcony) "Do you want to book it?" The reservation person asked. "Yes please." I replied. Skip forward to checking in: "Your room has a king bed and a balcony, but you can upgrade to a room with a mineral spa for an extra $60.00" Said the clerk. "No thanks, we will just use the mineral pool." I replied. "The pool is closed for renovation and will reopen on the 19th." The clerk said. (Today is the 13th...and we are here for one night...) "Well that is some information we could have used before booking!" I said. "You can call Expedia and cancel the room if you like?" The clerk said... Yeah...only reason we booked the spa was to use....the SPA!! And what's with telling me it was the only room left, and then offering a room with a mineral spa when checking in?

If the hotel cannot provide an acceptable guest experience during renovations, it should not remain open as though it can. The hotel is currently under renovation, and many amenities are unavailable. Although we were upgraded to a renovated room on the SPA side which we were lead to believe was better, it was not. They are still renovating the pool and the common areas so it does not matter which side you stay on!!! So do not let that fool you. We had a noon checkout, we were woken by heavy drilling around 8:40 a.m. The restaurant is intermittently unavailable due to construction crews eating there. Staff were friendly and not at fault, but no compensation was offered, which suggests management policy. We stayed after a late concert expecting a restful morning. The level of noise and disruption was unacceptable. We have NO desire to every visit this establishment again nor recommend it. We felt mislead and dismissed.

Stayed at Temple Gardens Hotel & Spa and honestly the management ruined the entire experience.I checked out and drove all the way back to Regina before realizing I forgot my chargers in the room. I immediately called twice, both times the call got redirected to reception and then straight to voicemail. Since nobody would answer, I literally drove all the way back to the hotel just to get my stuff. Here’s the funny part. I ALWAYS take pictures of my belongings before leaving hotel rooms. I went to reception, asked for my chargers, and the employee came back with only ONE charger. I politely explained there should be two chargers because I literally had a photo showing both chargers plugged into the same outlet together before checkout. Instead of actually listening, she immediately got defensive saying “we didn’t steal anything” and went to get a supervisor. I never accused anyone at that point, I simply wanted my belongings back that had been sitting in the room barely 1-2 hours earlier. The supervisor comes out, I show her the photo again, and somehow they still claim they only “found one.” So explain to me how TWO chargers are clearly visible together in the exact same outlet, but housekeeping magically only notices one? Yeah okay. The charger with the longer cable conveniently disappeared. My gut already knew what happened. I even asked if they could speak directly to the room attendant who cleaned the room, but apparently they had already left for the day. The supervisor promised she would “look into it” and call me the next day. Today I get a call saying they “couldn’t find it.” That’s it. No accountability. No reimbursement. No replacement offer. Nothing. Just “sorry, we’re not responsible” and basically ended the conversation. If you’re “not responsible,” then what’s the point of having a lost and found in the first place? Crazy that a hotel currently going through renovations and trying to maintain a reputation in Moose Jaw handles customers like this over something left behind for less than two hours. Be aware and keep track of your belongings if you stay here. Thankfully I take photos before leaving rooms because otherwise this would’ve been brushed off even faster. They already have all my contact information. If something changes after this review, good. If not, people deserve to know.

I eagerly await the upcoming renovation of rooms and pool I've stayed a few times and was there recently. The staff was friendly and accommodating in Harwoods and the food was really good. We had the salmon and baby back ribs, both were delicious. Overall the whole place needs an upgrade and some modern thinking about how they do things. The fitness center is sub par and an after thought, a big surprise for a spa. Modern equipment and a bigger fitness center will attract more people and makes sense for a spa. The food options at the cafe were also puzzling. There was no awareness of gluten free options nor did they know what was safe for gluten free. That part was a big disappointment. Premium price is charged for the hotel but what is offered does not align with what you get. We had a balcony room which was spacious and clean, just a little dated.
