“I had a very disappointing experience at Tashi Massage Therapist during my recent visit. I am female age 40. I had booked both a facial massage and a body massage. However, the therapist, Yan Li, only performed the body massage. When I pointed out that I had also booked a facial massage, she said she had “forgotten.” Despite this being their mistake, instead of resolving the issue, she became argumentative and started raising her voice. like (fish Market) pathetic I calmly suggested that we could complete the facial massage separately after(means paying separate for facial massage which was 30 minutes$50) . but she refused and continued to speak in an unprofessional and disrespectful manner. The interaction felt chaotic and uncomfortable, which is the last thing you expect in a place meant for relaxation. On top of that, the body massage itself was very poor. It felt extremely harsh and uncomfortable—more like hitting than a proper massage. It was not relaxing at all and did not meet even basic expectations. After the argument, another therapist (name starting with M) stepped in. She was calm, polite, and handled the situation professionally. She communicated clearly and eventually provided the 10 min facial massage, which I appreciated. During this time, Yan returned and offered a quick 10-minute massage, but after everything that had happened, I declined bcoz i was afraid the way she was aggressive. This was especially disappointing because my first visit was excellent—Ekaterina did a great job for both me and my husband, which is why I chose to return. Unfortunately, this experience was the complete opposite. Due to the lack of professionalism, poor service, and unacceptable behavior from Yan Li, I would not recommend this place. Instead of leaving relaxed, I left with a headache and feeling stressed—making it a complete waste of my time and money. There are many skilled and respectful massage therapists in Alberta who offer a far better experience.”Read moreShow less
