“I had a very disappointing experience with "Lifemark Physiotherapy Springborough" during my WCB claim. After my workplace injury, I was assessed at this clinic. They were aware that I was unable to drive to work, yet they submitted a report stating that I was fit for modified duties without informing me. As a result, I spent about a month without receiving WCB pay because I had no idea that such a report had been sent. What made the situation even more frustrating was the lack of honesty and professionalism. I visited the clinic seven times asking for information and a copy of my assessment. Each time I received a different explanation: that they would send it, that they already had, that they forgot, that the staff member responsible was away, or finally that they couldn't provide it due to "privacy." This made no sense, as the report was about my own medical assessment. Only after speaking directly with my WCB case manager did I learn what had actually happened. My case manager expressed that my claim had been mishandled, and that much of the confusion stemmed from the clinic's handling of my case. That conversation finally explained why I had been left without accurate information for so long. Based on my personal experience, I found the communication to be poor, the handling of my case unprofessional, and the lack of transparency unacceptable. “Chris McKanna has been a remarkable physiotherapist for me. We went over a plan at the beginning of my first treatment, and with his help physically (and mentally), my knee is doing extremely well. Besides treatment at the clinic, he gave me a list of exercises, which I have been following. Chris is very friendly, knowledgable, and I feel very at ease with him. “I had a wonderful experience with Dr. Roya. She takes the time to listen carefully, asks thoughtful questions, and really tries to understand which areas need the most attention before starting the treatment. Throughout the session, she is very patient, gentle, and frequently checks in to make sure you're comfortable and to see how you're feeling. I truly felt that the treatment was personalized to my needs rather than being a one-size-fits-all approach. “Chris was my physiotherapist and he helped me greatly in my healing journey after a car accident. He was always open to questions about my pain and he takes other medical conditions into account if they affect my treatment plan. He is also friendly and creates a welcoming and comfortable space. Biggest thing I can recommend when it comes to physio: DO YOUR HOMEWORK EXERCISES.
