“I was able to be seen promptly, the same day I called. The staff on the phone were very understanding and scheduled me for an assessment with Maura. I was experiencing debilitating vertigo and dizziness for almost 2 weeks and it was really affecting all aspects of my daily life. Maura was incredibly kind, understanding and professional. She put me at ease and was extremely knowledgeable. After my initial assessment and first treatment, I can easily say I notice a huge improvement and wish I had gone sooner.”

“I endured the worst possible first physio appointment here. I came here for TMJ problems and I was told that: I have bad posture, you can see the depression and anxiety on my face, that i need to workout because i used to be skinny on the photo on the back of my phone case, that a gym is only around 80$ a month. The doctor acknowledged my depression and continued to tell me i needed to workout. My right to respectful medical care was completely dismissed and I am scared to ever have another physio appointment ever again because of this horrible experience.”

“First time visiting, upon the recommendation from a friend. My symptoms had nearly resolved, and I almost cancelled my appointment. I am glad I didn't. Jake treated me with just as much care as if I was in a full blown episode. He explained the assessment to me, and the science behind it all. Walked me through every step of the treatment. Check in was fast and efficient, front desk staff great and very respectful, especially considering the varied situations I witnessed in the short time I was in the waiting room. Appointment was at 4 and it was on time. Highly recommend.”

“I was referred to NL Balance and Dizziness Centre after falling and hitting my head. The dizziness, pressure headaches, my body felt like it had been totally jolt , I could not drive, it was so frustrating. Day to day activity had to be alter to a point I felt I just wanted to crawl in bed and stay there. When I arrived for my first appointment I was so pleased to see how staff were so engaged with their clients. After my first session with Kim I felt secure, she saw me, she heard me and she understood. Each appointment she gaged my progress and tweaked my program. I never thought I was going to recover but after working with Kim and her team I am so happy to say I am feeling better and confident. I know I am on the road to recovery. I highly recommend NL Balance & Dizziness Centre. Kim and her team are amazing individuals who excel at what they do. Going to appointments is not a task, I look forward to going and continuing my progress.”

“The atmosphere is incredible. The lights are dimmed and in some cases off altogether. The natural light at this point that is coming from where there is a beautiful indoor garden. There is more than enough space for you to have a dedicated professional by your side 100% of the time. Amazing team(s), all necessary exercise machines and again, a dedicated physiotherapy program guide. * You could not be in better hands. I neglected to mention the team members that bounced ideas off each other, during which process you may learn something to enhance your recovery. Your project/plan is achievable BUT you must first decide to dedicate your time and commit your maximum effort to the task at hand which is self care being your new normal.”
