“⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ An Exceptional Experience with Dr. Katie Nanos – MyoDynamic Health Physiotherapy & Orthotics (Newmarket) After months of dealing with a chronic and painful Baker's cyst, knee instability, swelling, and increasing mobility challenges, finding Dr. Katie Nanos was truly a breath of fresh air. From my very first appointment, Dr. Nanos was approachable, patient, kind, and incredibly attentive. She took the time to thoroughly review my case beforehand and actively listened as I explained my history and concerns. Rather than rushing through the appointment, she asked thoughtful follow-up questions, completed a detailed medical history review, and performed a visual examination before requesting consent to complete a range-of-motion assessment. I immediately felt respected, informed, and involved in my own care. What stood out most was her communication style. Before my cyst aspiration procedure, Dr. Nanos carefully explained each step, including what I could expect when the numbing medication was administered and when I would feel the small poke associated with the aspiration itself. She continued to keep me informed throughout the procedure and clearly explained how many ccs of fluid were removed from both the back and front of my knee. She also thoroughly reviewed aftercare instructions, discussed what recovery would look like, and provided her professional opinion regarding next steps. The entire experience was so positive that I left feeling reassured and hopeful, something I hadn't felt in quite some time. Her level of preparedness, compassion, professionalism, and thoroughness should be the standard of care across the industry. I later returned for a follow-up appointment to review my MRI results, and once again, Dr. Nanos exceeded my expectations. She took the time to carefully explain the findings, discuss all available treatment options, and encouraged me to do my own research so I could fully understand any decisions I might make regarding my care. I never felt pressured; instead, I felt empowered and supported. What impressed me even more was her genuine advocacy on my behalf. After recognizing some challenges I was experiencing navigating the referral process, Dr. Nanos went above and beyond by sending a recommendation letter to my family physician to help ensure the appropriate next steps were being considered. That level of compassion and dedication is rare and speaks volumes about the kind of physician she is. She also offered a follow-up phone consultation after I completed my research, and once again, I was not disappointed. She took the same care, patience, and time to answer questions and guide me through my options. I am genuinely looking forward to my next appointment and am so grateful to have found such a knowledgeable, compassionate, and patient-centered sports medicine physician. “Highly recommend MyoDynamic Health. My son has been attending for physiotherapy to strengthen his legs, and Mena Atalla has been professional, knowledgeable, and has helped him gradually build strength with a thoughtful approach. Rachael Ledlie was also excellent in fitting him for custom shoe orthotics. The entire process has been seamless so far — they can direct bill certain insurance providers and even help facilitate obtaining a doctor’s note for the orthotics. I also appreciate that the orthotics are manufactured in-house and come with a 2-year warranty. Great experience overall.”

“Newmarket MyoDynamic helped my lower leg pain resulting from multiple causes. Dr Nanos referred me to a wonderful pedorthist, Rachael, also within the clinic, where new orthotics were prescribed and built by Rachael in just over one week. Pain has already subsided in new, wider shoes(also available from within the clinic) after a few days. Any staff I met were friendly and knowledgeable. The intake assessments were extremely thorough and comprehensive. Overall, an incredibly enjoyable and satisfying experience.”
