“I cannot say enough about Joseph . A year ago, after prolonged shoulder pain and repeated injury I was unable to continue with my training. I was very disappointed and was being told by doctors that shoulder surgery would be my only option moving forward. I was referred to Joseph and can only say WOW! Not only a very personable, professional and knowledgeable person. The passion he has for his work shines through in everything he does. He not only treats, but educates as well to help you learn how to overcome injury via movement, specific targeted excercises and stretches. It is because of Joseph's treatment that I have been able to move beyond my previous limits. Being able to bench press, and play racket sports again has been an amazing improvement to say the least. “10 years ago I injured my back doing deadlifts. Over the past several years, I've seen various physiotherapists and chiropractors and experienced little to no relief. But a year ago, I was referred to Joseph by a mutual friend, and this past year made up for the previous 9. Not only was he able to treat and eliminate some of my nagging injuries, he also performed an entire body assessment and pointed out muscle imbalances that would make me more prone to injury. Apart from his treatment, he's also educated me on proper functional movement patterns, making me more aware of how my body should move. “My experience with Joe has been amazing. Came to him with shoulder problems as well as tightness in my hips. He has since helped me release tension and the stiffness in my shoulder and taught me numerous releases, stretches and strengthening exercises to help with my shoulder and hips. “I recently injured my knee on a trip I took…..too the floor….and my DR. recommended to rest it up as it appeared to be a bad sprain, after 2 weeks of rest, I saw little improvement. I came across Joseph via a friends recommendation also I live in the area. Joseph Cheung handled my intake and I was very impressed with the thoroughness of the questions he asked and the mobility testing he did on my knee to assess the damage. He was able to determine that my issue just wasn’t my knee but many of the muscles around my knee had also tensed up which was causing my tension pains. Just after 3 session with him, my leg feels 100% better, I am so glad I found him and didn’t just sit around for weeks as my doctor suggested.
