“Posting from my business account for anonymity. Unfortunately I did not have a great experience with Meghan Hole. As a woman who is a POC who is also a professional with a stable job and a great health benefit plan, I was quite surprised when Meghan paused our session to inform me that my benefits had not covered the total cost. Firstly, this was not my first session and I had never defaulted on payment, so the anticipatory statement was framed in an unprofessional manner. Do you think a POC will not pay you..? Mind you- this was brought up mid session after the timer started. I then explained I had no problem covering the difference via etransfer. She instructed me to do so right away, clock ticking. Is this not time theft? I agreed anyway, paused our session to complete payment, which was concerning because this was during a session I was paying for. Sadly, as a POC you often deal with distrust from society but rather than billing me normally, I spent time during a session I PAID for, to complete a transfer. I have spoken to other professionals who have advised this is not a normal practice, and is just completely unprofessional.”
