I had a bulged disc about 16 years ago. I tried multiple physiotherapists and chiropractors and osteopathy….. I found Steve Brown who was working at CBI (Canadian Back Institute) in waterloo. By the time I found him I was on heavy pain killers and waking at night in tears. I had constant pain all the way to one foot and numbness up my calf. After seeing Steve a few times, my symptoms started to decrease. I was able to stop the painkillers and eventually he popped the bulged disc back in and well….. 16 years later I will follow him anywhere he goes because he is freaking amazing. I’ve injured lots of body parts in the 16+ years I have seen him for ….. fractured elbow, torn meniscus, tendonitis in both elbows, neck pain, forearm pain, ankle sprains, and whenever my back feels like it needs tweaking, I will go see Steve. Usually it’s a hip issue, but he fixes it. Don’t hesitate, just go see him. He is not your average physio. And if he wants to dry needle you, let him. It works wonders!

Nancy accurately diagnosed the cause of dizziness that tortured me for several years. I recovered within a month after doing some simple exercises. I had gone everywhere doing all kinds of tests before seeing her, nobody could figure out why.mentions Nancy Rowell →

★★★★★ Outstanding Care at Huron Crossing Physiotherapy! I can’t say enough great things about Huron Crossing Physiotherapy! From the moment you walk in, you’re welcomed into a warm, professional, and positive environment that immediately puts you at ease. A huge shoutout to Nancy, the physiotherapist — she is absolutely incredible. She’s not only highly knowledgeable and skilled, but also so personable and genuinely caring. Nancy takes the time to truly listen, assess thoroughly, and explain the root cause of your issue rather than just treating the symptoms. You never feel rushed. She walks you through the treatment plan clearly, answers all your questions patiently, and ensures you understand the exercises and recovery process. Her kindness and encouraging approach make every session comfortable and motivating. Also, a big thank you to Nicole at reception! She is always friendly, welcoming, and organized. Booking or rescheduling appointments is effortless, and she’s very accommodating and professional. It makes such a difference when the front desk experience is just as positive as the treatment itself. The clinic itself is clean, well-equipped, and runs efficiently. You can tell they truly care about patient progress and overall well-being. If you’re looking for physiotherapy that combines expertise, compassion, and excellent customer service, I highly recommend Huron Crossing Physiotherapy. Five stars all the way! 🌟

I had been experiencing a sharp, persistent pain in my right upper back that also radiated toward my chest. I wasn’t sure what the cause was, but Nancy was able to quickly identify that it was rib-related pain. She explained everything clearly, helped me understand what was happening in my body, and guided me through treatment and exercises that made such a difference. After a few sessions and following her recommended stretches and massages, I am now pain-free. Nancy was exceptional, knowledgeable, patient, and very thorough in her approach. I’m truly grateful for her care and support. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for an excellent physiotherapist!

We recently had two physiotherapy sessions at Huron Crossing Physiotherapy for my husband’s workplace-related back injury, and the experience has been great. Our physiotherapist, Dinisha, was very friendly and made my husband feel comfortable from the start. She is working diligently to address the root cause of the injury and has tailored a treatment plan that seems effective. Both sessions were productive, with clear explanations of exercises and recovery techniques. Dinisha’s approachable manner made the process smooth, and it feels like we’re making good progress. One reason we chose Huron Crossing Physiotherapy is its convenient location. Since it’s close to our home, it was easier to visit here rather than going to the Dr’s referral center in Waterloo. The clinic is also clean and hygienic, which adds to the comfort and quality of the experience. The booking system is straightforward, making it easy to schedule appointments. Additionally, the front desk staff is polite, contributing to a hassle-free experience. Sessions always started on time, so we never had to wait. We are pleased with the care and support provided by Huron Crossing Physiotherapy and highly recommend it for anyone dealing with similar injuries. It’s been a positive and productive experience so far!
