“Poor scheduling and lack of consideration for families. Avoid go to to sound advice hearing clinic for infants”

“Love the people and the environment. My children go to Erinoak and I have seen a lot of developments in both of them.”

“My daughter Gabby has been attending ErinOak for about a year now. She started with the solo speech sessions and just finished her group speech therapy today. She has had a variety of clinicians but one that has resonated with Gabby and us as parents is Michelle Diaz-Jones. She is incredible. She is very knowledgeable, calm, and very helpful towards the children and parents. It has been a pleasure working with her and hope to have her in the future. Gabby has gained great progress with her guidance and help in these sessions. Gabby's speech and interactions have progressed and we thank Erin Oak Kids Brampton for their continued services and support for Gabby & our family and all the special needs children, neurodivergent and neurological and their families. Addition: we just had the Erin goes to the movies Charlie the Wonderdog. It was a fantastic experience. The welcome was nice, the mascot Erin was such a nice touch for the kids to meet and greet him made so many smiles. The staff was superb welcoming us into the auditorium. Oscar was so warm and friendly and charismatic with the children, youth, adults and families. The kids popcorn combo was so nice. It was so nice to be comfortable to be yourself and leave and go when need be. I appreciated the adjacent auditorium open and available to get some relief to do activities, like colouring reading, and cause and effect toys. And even to do gross motor with the stairs and just run and be happy and regulated. Oscar helped Gabby by redirecting her energy into running towards the room. I appreciated that little boost as she was getting overstimulated. I loved the sensory friendly screening it was perfect with the low lights and quieter sound and because you know we are all in the same boat you felt at home. Thank you again EOK for all your efforts for our community. Thank you for making our day. I can't wait to attend more! You are all making such a difference.”Read moreShow less

“Poor scheduling and lack of consideration for families. Our infant hearing screening appointment was confirmed by email, then cancelled on the same day due to staff unavailability. This caused unnecessary stress and work disruption, especially with a newborn. Medical appointments for infants should not be cancelled at the last minute after confirmation. This experience has reduced our confidence in the clinic’s reliability.”Read moreShow less

“Unfortunately, I had a terrible experience with Tamara Mostarac. Our session felt chaotic and inconsistent. The clinician made broad and worrying statements about my child after a very short observation, but never offered any clear explanations or next steps. When I asked for clarification, she gave vague, deflective answers that only created more confusion. What should have been a supportive appointment turned into an anxiety-inducing guessing game. Instead of collaboration, it felt like being lectured by someone who couldn’t back up what she was saying. The atmosphere was tense, the communication poor, and I left feeling discouraged rather than informed. Families deserve transparency and reassurance — not alarmist comments with no follow-through. I worry that other parents might walk away scared instead of supported.”Read moreShow less

“They didn’t see my son for physio because we were 10 mins late, even though there were still 20 minutes of the appointment left. I guess the therapist is just chilling for another 20 mins while paid from the taxes.”

“We had a very disappointing experience at this clinic. Our baby is only 10 days old, and we had booked a hearing test. Unfortunately, due to traffic, we were running late, so we called the reception in advance to confirm if we would still be accepted. The receptionist assured us that it was fine to come. However, when we arrived, the doctor was extremely rude and unprofessional. Instead of showing care and understanding, she scolded us for being late, raised her voice, and said she didn’t care whom we had spoken to on the phone. This was very upsetting, especially when we were there for our newborn. We felt disrespected and unwelcome, so we left without the test. We have now booked another appointment at a different location where we hope to receive proper service with kindness and care. A doctor working with newborns should show compassion and patience, not hostility.”Read moreShow less

“Accompanied a family member to this place. It is a newly built building, a quiet and peaceful spot, at the corner of McVean and Bovaird, in Brampton. Huge facility with clean rooms, lots of professional, welcoming staff and huge hallways. Plenty of paid parking. There is a coffee shop right across in the plaza”Read moreShow less

“I love the environment, great place for kids to learn. Lots of classrooms, clinicians and supervisors are doing a great job. So far, two things I dislike about this Centre; First, is their policy of not been able to reschedule session(s) when your child is sick, despite the fact that you are told to call the cancelation line when your child is not feeling well. Also, part of their policy to keep your child at home when sick. This means you are paying money for services not rendered! I think this policy should be changed. Second, is getting immediate communications across to the centre as most of the calls goes to voice mail, even though you have the extension to call. The only extension that picks up almost immediately is the account department.”Read moreShow less
