“I have been seeing Dahora for almost 3 weeks for physio for my knees. Despite me not knowing if my knee dysfunction is due to injuries or an autoimmune condition, the treatment and exercises that I have been given by Dahora have helped immensely. I walked, with great difficulty, into my assessment with braces on both knees and on crutches. I am now able to walk without crutches at all and only sometimes with a brace. After only 3 weeks I have made great progress, all thanks to my physiotherapy. Dahora is very knowledgeable, kind, empathetic, and I always leave my appointments feeling more healed and more optimistic. She is amazing. Thank you so much Dahora! “Embody was the first place I found for physio and other treatments that didn't make me feel pressured into repeat visits if they weren't necessary, or that didn't shame me when I had lapses in effort toward exercises outside of the appointments. I can't express enough how important this was to me, since I had very little exposure to this area of healthcare and all prior attempts had just lead to me feeling shamed and exploited. Anita helped me at first for physio, and since then I've also received osteo treatment from Stephan and massage therapy from Daniela and Stephanie. All the staff and the environment of the space are set up to just feel honest, helpful, and comfortable, and since I started seeing them I've been able to slowly recover from many chronic issues I'd been living with over the years.”Read moreShow less

“Highly recommend booking a deep tissue massage with Stephanie!! I've been struggling with chronic upper back and neck pain (I'm a computer science student lol), and it's been quite difficult for me to find a masseuse that can spot my pressure points, as well as put enough pressure to alleviate my pain... But Stephanie was amazing! She was very attentive to the issues I was having and gave me the perfect amount of pressure.
