I thought I had given up on physio, as I have never had great results with the ones I have been to. I’ve always found it’s the same thing…. Here are some exercises (which I was not taught properly how to do) or let’s do some acupuncture and slap on a tens machine. Not this time around! I found Brickstone online and thought, alright I’ll give her a try. I’m so glad I did. Esther is so thorough and kind, she listens, she did her own assessment of my issues (I find most I’ve been to focus on one part of the issue). I have been living with chronic back, neck and hip pain for years. I’ve been to many chiropractors, physiotherapists and doctors and nobody has ever taken the time to listen and find out what’s actually causing the issues. I have only just started seeing Esther, (a month ago) and I have to say she is different! In such a great way. We’ve worked together to get to the root cause of my issues and it’s been amazing. I can do things I haven’t done in nearly 20 years. I haven’t been able to cross my legs in years or even get close to touching my toes, I can now. The pain (for the most part) is gone. As I write this I literally feel beyond lucky. Yes it means I have to do my part (like actually doing the exercises). I feel like.. maybe just maybe I don’t have to suffer with pain forever. Maybe I can get on a roller coaster again and not have to be worried I’ll hurt myself. I never thought I would be able to do physical things again because nobody really gave me much hope. She has completely changed the way I think of my future. ( It’s not just physical, when you live with chronic pain it messes with you mentally too) Her approach and the way she explains how to do the exercises (showing me and having me do them with her so she can make sure I’m doing them correctly) is not like any other physiotherapist I have been too. She’s never just handed me a paper and said her you go. I can’t wait to see what a few more months working with her looks like. If you’ve been on the fence about going, just do it! . She also does dry needling (which maybe isn’t for everyone , but it so worth it) it’s helped so much it’s crazy. I hope she reads this so she knows that what she’s doing is making a difference and how much I appreciate he work she’s doing.

Finding Brickhouse Physiotherapy has changed my life. I went from taking 10 minutes each morning before I could move properly to getting out of bed and not realizing that I am no longer struggling. Esther and Grant have been amazing. Thank you both for healing my body and for all the knowledge your share

Esther Wood is the most amazing physiotherapist I have ever seen. I have been seeing her for my Knee pain, 2 sessions I see lots of progress, literally no pain. She answered all my questions with lots of patience. Such caring and compassionate. I strongly recommend her.

Excellent physiotherapist. Real improvements after a broken wrist.

I first saw Esther for a frozen shoulder and now I'm seeing her for an avulsion fracture of my foot. She is truly amazing! Between the therapy, acupuncture, massage, and exercises to do at home, I see improved range of motion and less pain with each visit.

Esther was absolutely wonderful! I had been looking for a while for a physiotherapist that could do acupuncture and was good and she is AMAZING! I tried dry-needling with her for the first time and was able to eventually get a week pain free! She also has so many other methods of healing and does great hands-on work too, along with good stretches. She is a perfect combination of everything you need to get better and feel better! I was really sad to see her move so far from where I live :(

Hockey player and avid gym goer. Injured my adductor/groin/lower abdomen. Saw Esther for several sessions. She is extremely knowledgable, and created a routine/program that worked with my schedule. She was deligent when creating follow ups and ensuring I was sticking to my routine. Extremely positive the entire time, and made me feel very comfortable when working on my not so comfortable area. I would highly recommend Burrwood Physiotherapy to anyone who needs some helping recovering from an injury or simply looking to improve. Side note, I never tried acupuncture and IMS before, but she made me feel at ease with it! 5 stars.
