I sustained a back injury about a year ago, and after seeing Dr. Mark Murdock, my back has improved considerably. He took the time to work with me and meet me where I was in my recovery. He provided practical exercises and tools that I continue to use today. Dr. Murdock is one of the best around. I would recommend him and his service to anyone.

Mark is an excellent coach and his training has no doubt changed my life, enabling me to still do the activities and work I love.

Mark was excellent to work with. His communication skills and ability to explain muscle anatomy and body movement are outstanding. I came to Basecamp after dealing with years of shoulder and neck pain following a mountain biking accident, looking for a way to recover properly and get back to being active again. Before working with Mark, I had tried other avenues including chiropractic treatment, massage, and even acupuncture, but none of them provided lasting results for me. Mark’s approach of steady, progressive reconditioning and targeted strength work was ultimately the key to my recovery. Over the course of 12 weeks, Mark designed a gradual and highly effective program tailored specifically to my recovery and long-term goals. He focused on rebuilding strength and stability around the affected areas while ensuring progress was safe, sustainable, and consistent. Having a young family, flexibility is a given, and Mark was always accommodating with scheduling and adapting the program when needed. That level of understanding and support made it much easier to stay committed and consistent throughout the process. By the end of the program, I was back to lifting weights and riding my bike with little to no discomfort. We now check-in monthly to ensure progress is still there and continue to work to improve my body. Mark genuinely knows what he’s doing and did an incredible job helping me return to functioning like an athlete again. I would highly recommend him to anyone dealing with injuries, chronic pain, or looking to rebuild strength the right way!

The clinic’s approach to treating athletic injuries is fantastic. Mark brought a fresh lens to some stubborn issues that was very practical and allowed me to still participate in the sports I love while I rehab. 10/10 would recommend!

If you’re active, athletic, or serious about staying healthy long term, Base Camp is on a completely different level than a typical chiropractic clinic. What stood out to me most was the combination of hands-on treatment, movement assessment, rehab programming, and actual education. They don’t just treat symptoms and send you out the door — they take the time to understand what you’re trying to get back to doing and build a real plan around it. The approach feels much more performance and recovery focused than traditional chiropractic care. You leave understanding your body better, not just temporarily feeling better. You can tell Dr. Mark genuinely cares about long-term outcomes and helping people stay active for life. Highly recommend for runners, mountain bikers, skiers, gym athletes, or anyone who wants more than a quick adjustment.

I worked with Mark on a 12 week strengthening program. Mark was very professional and pushed me to work harder and zoned in on my weaknesses which I appreciated. Over the years I have contemplated working with different style coaches from a running coach to personal trainers but have always fell back on doing what I could utilizing goggle as my go to for information. Although the internet has flashy adds and perfect programs to follow there is something to be said about working with a human and not AI. I found the big difference with working with Mark is he set up a program that focused on my weaknesses or areas I needed improvement where as when building my owe program or just general work out I focused on the areas I was strong or good at because it gave me that quick dopamine rush we all crave rather than my long term goals. This is my personal opinion but wanted to explain my 5 star rating with some detail. Thanks Mark

Over the decades I have seen many physio and athletic therapists - and honestly, they have all left me feeling as though I could just save my money and YouTube what to do. My current 'condition' has pushed me to find someone to support my pre-surgery game plan and ideally, post-surgery recovery. Which led me to Basecamp - 2 visits in and combined with the app program he has developed supporting and tracking me between visits - this is a completely different experience! There is personal and tailored attention to my specific condition, personal drives and commitments, goals and objectives are laid out and through the app, a built in (live) accountability partner - meets - coach. If you are seeking a truly dedicated regime to get you from where you are to where you want to be and have the personal commitment to level up your physical game with intention - I highly recommend checking out the Basecamp Team.

From the very beginning Mark has been nothing short of amazing for my recovery. I had multiple back issues and I feel the only reason I progressed the way I did, was because of his dedication to your health and keeping you accountable with the path forward. 100% different from the average physio that just helps you return to work, Basecamp helps you return to BETTER than your starting point. I would recommend basecamp time and again to anyone with an issue with body mechanics of any kind. Thanks mark, for top notch care.

Mark helped me so much with not only rehabbing my chest after top surgery, but also getting me ready for a 60km trail race five months post op. The combination of time based running and strength training got me stronger than before surgery, and the accountability helped me stick to the program. Mark's also always made me feel very safe and welcome!

I broke my collarbone and some ribs in a mountain biking accident, the bones healed but after 6 weeks in a sling there was much loss in range of motion and strength. I wanted to get better fast, because…life and a pending multi day mountain biking trip. I was concerned my shoulder wouldn’t be up to the challenge. I needed a good chiropractor, I’m so grateful I found one! Dr. Mark’s approach is results oriented. He is excellent at communicating every aspect of injuries, treatment, and rehabilitation. The combination of injury specific adjusting and exercise speeds up recovery more effectively than some other cookie cutter approaches. Not only will I be ready for the bike trip, but both of my shoulders will be stronger and more resilient thanks to the program Dr. Mark tailored for me.
