“I went for my first treatment for a partially torn Achilles. Mindi was great she assessed me told me the amount of time I'd have for recovery. I was given homework to do at home to assist in my recovery. A big thanks.”

“My knee pain started a year ago and from that time, I met with my family doctor twice, went for an ultrasound, met an orthopedic surgeon, went for an MRI, did physiotherapy. I waited 2 months from when my referral from my doctor was submitted to Athlete's Care Sports Medicine Centre before I could consult with someone, only to be told what I already knew about my condition. Prior to the appointment, I was asked to complete a questionnaire which I thought would help them put up a treatment plan for me, but no; it seems the answers I took time to provide were only used as some sort of data they can collect and store. The most perplexing was how Dr. Jin told me I am "too young" for surgery and said no surgeon would operate me unless I try all other options first, as if my health and physical wellbeing are conditional to their convenience, or subject to their conditions. I'm in my late 40's! Dr. Jin gave me more reasons to deny treatment than she offered solutions. She seemed more focused on showcasing her knowledge. Another issue with this clinic is how on the walls, there are framed and signed jerseys of professional athletes (Conor McDavid, Chris Bosh, some Argonauts player), and it sets you up in thinking they are the best and you'll receive top notch treatment, but they showed me very little care. If I were an athlete and needed to get back to performing again, would I have been treated differently? Would they treat Conor McDavid the way they treated me? Misleading, deceiftufl, and confusing experience. A waste of time and a major step backwards in my jourey towards recovery.”Read moreShow less

“I went into the office and saw Mindi!! How lucky was I to have my first treatment make a visible difference in my walking as well since that day I have not taken any pain meds. “Had my ACL reconstruction and meniscus repair done by Dr. Tran recently and just had my first post op meeting with him. The doc has got magic hands: post op pain is very manageable, no infection, no blood clot. I am very optimistic about my recovery. The staff especially Daphane was also very helpful in providing information i needed before the operation and booking my post op appointments. Currently doing my Physio with Uma and she has been great too. Gives you the right amount of exercises and homework to do to get your ROM and strength back.”Read moreShow less

“I can’t say enough about this place all the staff and doctors are absolutely amazing 😊 I recommend everyone who needs physical therapy for any health condition this is thr place to go 😊 This place is about how they treat you when you come in with smiles and how they make me feel 😊 The physical therapist Thivya Murugananthan is absolutely amazing she has been there for me showing me how to do things that I can’t do because of my leg. “I’ve been seeing Mindi Goodman at Athlete’s Care for years now and the care has been excellent. She takes time to listen, clearly explain what’s going on, and outline a simple treatment plan I can follow. Each session feels tailored, with a good mix of hands‑on treatment and exercises I can do at home. She’s also always a pleasure to interact with. The clinic staff are friendly and accommodating.
