Alexis is an excellent physiotherapist. Not only does she have great attention to detail when it comes to injury and treatment but she also helps in between appointments to make sure you have the right stretches and exercises. Our family is very impressed with Art and Science Physio. If you want someone to help and guide you through injury or just some great exercise and stretches reach out to Art and Science and Alexis and her team.

I have experienced a much greater range of motion, less pain and (best of all) hope that I will be able to hike, garden and canoe for many years still. I appreciate that treatment is through stretching and muscle building rather than more invasive methods.

I'm so grateful I found Alexis! I have been working with her for over a year now and I have made incredible progress! After close to 10 years of pain and dysfunction from compounded injuries, I almost lost all hope. I worked with various therapists over the years, but something was missing - although they were helpful with pain management, I wasn't able to make progress. Alexis gave me hope back, which in itself has been life changing. With Alexis' help and compassionate care I have become stronger, have significantly less pain, and I am able to do activities again that I didn't think were possible. I am so excited for my weekly appointments, progress feels so good! Thank you Alexis!!!

Review, on behalf of Julie Foster - Alexis is a very thorough physiotherapist. I was having great difficulty sleeping at night due to lower back and leg pain. Alexis was able to discover that it was sacroiliac joint pain as she listened well and questioned me as to where and what my specific pain was to pin point the issue. She is hands on and taught me how to improve myself with a few stretches daily. After my first visit I had significant improvement in my sleep and after competing a few visits with Alexis my pain has subsided. I greatly recommend Alexis for physiotherapy needs!!

Alexis Officer at Art & Science Physiotherapy was one of the first people I met after moving back to Smiths Falls. After all the lifting, packing and unpacking, my back had been really compromised, I was in constant pain, and needed help. I started by going to her weekly Pilates classes which I thoroughly enjoyed. I had been doing Pilates for over 30 years in Toronto and consider Pilates an essential class to keep your body in shape and help prevent injuries, so it was important to me to find a good teacher. Alexis's classes are professional, personalized, engaging and fun. Every class is completely different and she uses a variety of props that keeps it interesting. When I began treatments it became apparent that she brings the same level of expertise, dedication, and warmth to the classes she teaches to her physiotherapy treatments. She provides a range of treatments to meet your specific needs, including acupuncture. If you are in any type of pain and need an informed, current, and caring professional I highly recommend Alexis. Aesthetically her clinic is beautiful and inviting, incorporating all of the building's original architecture and charm. Smiths Falls is fortunate she located here.
