“Short version: Let your body win the day! I ran 7 km straight with no breaks yesterday thanks partly to Arise Chiropractic and massage. Longer version: When I started with Chiropractic and massage care a few weeks ago, I was in significant back pain that radiated from my pelvis through my lower to mid back. I had recently took up running again and was making reasonable progress over 6 months. Then the pain started after sitting for a 4 hour fishing trip in a Jon boat. The pain had put a halt to all of my activity and interfered with my sleep. I found myself at physio and trying home based yoga and stretching through all hours of the night. I had limited to no relief and was increasingly desperate to escape the pain. This included consuming Advil and Tylenol multiple times per day to the point where I found the bottom of the bottle. I was alarmed. Dr. Lysyk took me in the day after I called in. He evaluated my body, instantly recognizing my spinal curve and situation. He projected a plan and we went for it. Over the course of 4 chiropractic and two massage appointments, I can confirm that my back pain is almost non existent, I am more flexible and mobile in my hips. I was able to run 7 km without stopping to walk as I usually do. I had not been able to do this before without experiencing fatigue and pain. I can lift my right knee higher and easier allowing me to be more efficient in my stride which improves cadence and endurance. Thank you for helping me and I would recommend Arise to anyone. “I started to see Dr. Deane Studer about 2 months ago about a stubborn shoulder injury. Aftrer 6 months of physiotherapy I got really frustrated with the lack of results and called Dr. Deane’s office. Even after the first treatment I noticed small improvements. Dr. Deane used active release to help loosen up and heal the left shoulder area. Today I am able to do movements at home and in the gym that I couldn’t for a long time.
