“A year ago, I fell 3 stories, had 2 compression fractures in my spine and broke countless bones in my left foot/ankle, thanks to the help of the staff here i can say Im able to resemble some of my old self. “I attended Altum Health for therapy after an operation to repair a badly torn rotator cuff. Their personalized and holistic approach to treatment made the painful periods tolerable and which, I believe, resulted in a shortend overall recovery period. The team assigned to me were Suzanne, James and Elaine. The personalized and focused treatment regimen developed for me by them showed their true concern for the person not just the treatment of the injury. This concern continues to and beyond discharge. While I credit the team assigned me for my recovery it must be stated that all of the staff not only exhibited professionalism but also a truly caring attitude. “Well if anyone is looking for the best physio and or after injury rehabilitation ALTUM is the best. I was fortunate to have Max, Chris and Elaine look after me for seven months. They are all very knowledgeable, experienced and genuinely caring. And the front office staff is always there to help and answer questions and help with your appointments. “I am very pleased with the service and care that I received at Altum health. I spent months at another provider with little to no improvement in my injury. I got in to see Dr. Venitelli and he gave me a cortisone shot at my first appointment which greatly aided in my recovery. The other staff that I work with, James and Chris, have been very helpful and supportive. They both listen to my concerns and have been great advocates for me during this WSIB process. “Unfortunately not a place that I can recommend. On my first visit I waited forever to get my next appointment scheduled. (Blame on their new system) 6 weeks later they still take forever to book you in. In 3 visits I spent probably 10 min in the gym. Most of the time they keep me in the office talking, typing and handing out papers so I can do my exercise on my own. I feel like a total waste of time. And yes, you do have to pay for parking when visiting this building. Also when they hire new therapists they need to train them properly. Otherwise young newly hired physiotherapist appears incompetent.”Read moreShow less

“This centre exceeded my expectations. I’m so grateful it was offered to me. Incredible staff that helped in my recovery, Kelsey, Brittany, Megan and Tyrone. Very knowledgeable, compassionate, providing a program that catered to my individual needs and concerns. The receptionists were all friendly and accommodating with my schedule. “The therapists are excellent. Some of the desk staff are abrasive and shame you over the phone when you cancel an appointment. Mask shame you and berate you when you try to sign in about screening - inappropriately - like to a child even if you have followed all the protocols and mandates. I’ve never had this happen before or since during the pandemic. Worked through SARS and trained in infection control. Terrible toxic person there. I can’t be the only person who has experienced this. “Excellent facility! I started the program suffering from a brain injury, neck and back pain. My Neuro team, Tyrone, Kelsey, Monique and Megan were amazing and worked w me through this difficult recovery.
